Filled to the rafters with punchy guitars and a full throttle synths, Clay are an indie outfit that'll get your adrenaline racing. The Leeds foursome are the product of multiple bedroom jams between songwriting brothers Joe and Jack Harvey, before being joined by Rob Gration and Danny Armitage, who all share a common interest in breaking from the monotony of everyday life. The result ‘Stay Calm!’ is a stadium-filling epic that deals with the confusion of first falling in love, and the tumbling mass of instruments goes some length to mimic the rush of it all. Having already caught the ear of Radio 1, Clay are moulding themselves in quite a promising act. - SJ
